Make at home: ‘Smoke & Mirrors’ Cocktail Recipe

Bring the five star service of 45 Park Lane to your guests at home with this fabulous cocktail from bar manager Francesco Orefici


One drink


15 ml Lemon juice

20 ml Simple syrup

20 ml Drambuie

40 ml Glenfiddich whisky

20ml Lapsang tea

2 bar spoons of Luxardo Maraschino



Stemless Burgundy Glass



One lemon peel and 2 Amarena cherries



Prepare to make your cocktail by infusing the Lapsang tea and allow to cool. Once you have 20ml of cooled infused tea pour into a shaker with ice, and add in all other ingredients. Shake vigorously for a few seconds. Using a cocktail strainer, poor the chilled liquid into a stemless Burgundy glass over a large ice chunk, or a few cubes of ice depending on what you have. Squeeze the lemon peel over the cocktail and let it drop into the glass then add the Amarena cherries to finish. Enjoy your Smoke & Mirrors cocktail!
