QH COCKTAIL REVIEW:
Bob Bob Ricard, W1

Off the bustling streets of Carnaby and Golden Square lies a gem among the many ‘trendy’ restaurants of Soho. QH pays a visit to Bob Bob Ricard...
Bob Bob Ricard has quickly become an institution for those who crave luxury and are looking to have a little fun after a hard or not so hard day’s work. From socialites and businessmen to in the know media types, this upscale American-Russian ‘diner’, has become the go-to hotspot for a splash of champagne and to-die-for cocktails.
From the minute I walked in and was whisked away by a handsome doorman down to the Club Room, I knew I was in for a good night. The decor is unlike any other bar I’ve been to in London. From ceiling to floor, the newly renovated Club Room is elegant and opulent. You feel as if you’ve been transported back to the 1920’s on the Orient Express. I’m sure Jay Gatsby would approve.
If the decor alone doesn’t do it for you, the cocktails most certainly will. With a reputation of its own, the drinks menu has something for everyone. Every table has its very own ‘Press for Champagne’ button, which makes summoning for more beverages that much more fun.
As we enjoyed the continuous flow of our favourite bubbly, we picked a few cocktails(from £10-£16) to liven up the party. The Single Shot Espresso Martini was by far my favourite, instantly perking me up after a long week of work. Our QH friends tried a delectable Raspberry Collins and a Salted Chocolate Martini. They even have warm cocktails to keep you cosy during the dreary winter months.
It’s hard to find a fault with glamorous Bob Bob Ricard. Everything from the cocktails, stunning interior, and dashing doormen will have this cocktail bar on your go-to list. Be sure to book a table before hand as the Club Room fills up quickly.
