On our hunt to find and question the world's most well travelled men, we managed to track down Simon Sava, whose Instagram will have you on Skyscanner in seconds. QH meets the Athens based model and blogger...
Where must QH readers visit whilst in Athens?
I suggest to start with one of the most beautiful walks you can have in the city. From Syntagma Square with the Greek Parliament to the beautiful Plaka with Anafiotika and finally to the Acropolis where you can see the Parthenon, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and the Erechtheion. Of course the Acropolis Museum is a must visit.
During the hot days of summer head south to the beautiful beaches and the glamorous beach clubs. Athens is famous for the nightlife and there is no way you should stay in at night. For dinner with an amazing view of the Acropolis try Hytra restaurant with molecular Greek cuisine or at Grande Bretagne's terrace restaurant.
As a fan of international cuisine I also recommend Kiku japanese restaurant and Kohylia multi-Asian restaurant. Some of my favourite places for cocktails and wine is Brettos in Plaka and Galaxy bar.
Talk us through you average work outs for a week?
I really enjoy working out so I visit the gym five days a week. Two of those days I do crossfit and the other three spinning and weight training.
How do you define your personal style?
Mostly casual but I really like playing with my style. I like trying new ideas in fashion but always putting that extra personal touch.
Where has been your favourite place to travel to?
That's a tough one. I really found Marrakech as one of my most interesting trips. A vibrant city full of contrasts and colours.
Marrakech is all about luxury hotels. A good choice is to stay a few days near the Medina at La Mamounia hotel, Royal Mansour or Dar Darma. The rest of your stay you should spend it at the Palmerie and get a suite at La Namaskar, the Taj Palace or at the new Mandarin Oriental. Eating and drinking in Marrakech is a whole new experience. Arancino, NoMad, Dar Essalam and Amanjena restaurants are at the top of my list.
What is your favourite thing to cook?
Without a second thought, crusted salmon is my favourite thing to cook.
What is the one item of clothing you could not live without?
My Balmain leather jacket.
What are your tips to staying stylish whilst travelling?
I would say pack something basic and accessorise it with different items you may buy from the country you visit. Every culture is different and it will definitely inspire you. Don't forget your comfort and check the weather before your trip.
Do you have a favourite hotel?
I really liked each one of the hotels I've stayed. I don't randomly choose my accommodation and I spend quite some time for that.
If I have to name my favourite one that would be Amanzoe by Aman resorts at the Peloponnese peninsula. Its architecture is like a modern hilltop Acropolis with panoramic sea views and stunning private beach club.
Where's next on your list to visit?
My next trip will be in Milan, lake Como and lake Lugano. Can't wait!
